Is the masterclass beginner-friendly?
Yes. I will personalize the course to your level. If you are a beginner, you will not be a beginner for long. And for intermediate and advanced players, you will learn techniques to achieve a professional level.
Can I get direct feedback from Tatum?
Yes! Unlike every other generic academy, I work directly with students. This is why I only take on 10 students at a time, in order to provide custom and specialized help. Alongside direct 1-on-1 coaching, my course also uses VideoAsk, a platform where you can film yourself playing guitar, upload, and receive feedback.
What do I need to get started?
You will need an acoustic guitar, internet connection and device to view the videos.
How long are the video lessons?
The course is structured for busy people: 15 short 5-15 minute videos with digestible instruction that gets straight to the good bits.
Will I receive a Certificate of Completion?
Yes. Upon completing the curriculum, you will receive a custom Certificate. I personally verify and sign these to recognize your dedication to the craft.
Are the tabs in standard notation or guitar tabs?
The course uses Professional Guitar Tablature, optimized for the percussive fingerstyle techniques taught in the lessons. These are available in both the video overlays and the comprehensive E-book.
How much should I practice each day to see results?
The optimal workflow is The 1-2 Method: Complete one new lesson, then spend the following two days practicing that specific movement for 10–30 minutes. Consistency beats intensity.

Yes, it's a one-off payment to unlock all direct coaching, lessons and unlimited feedback, with no extra fees or monthly payments.
